Good news! Deutsche Sinfonietta has been recognized as a non-profit organisation!

  Good news for the Deutsche Sinfonietta, its friends and supporters! The Tax Office for Corporations I in Berlin has recognised the non-profit status of the DSB's supporting organisation. In accordance with its articles of association, the corporation exclusively and directly promotes art and culture within the meaning of §§ 51 ff. AO, the Deutsche Sinfonietta is authorised to issue donation receipts in accordance with Section 50 (1) EStDV for donations made to it for use for these purposes.

This means that in future (and with retroactive effect) it will be possible for sponsors to deduct donations to the DSB from their income tax in accordance with the rules set out in §51 et seq. We will be publishing more information here in the foreseeable future about ways to support the Deutsche Sinfonietta. Stay tuned!
